In response to the question you're afraid to ask: This Friday is the last day to move from PreAP/GT English I to Academic English I without your grades following you. Thesis Statements - Brief Notes A good thesis, at minimum, should:
Generic Format: In the [Type], [Title], written in [Time], [Author] uses [literary device] to [specified effect/outcome]. *Note: This is the most basic type of thesis statement. Higher scoring essays customize the style of the thesis to match the effect of the essay.
