Here's the new YouTube access protocol from our IT department:
What: You Tube When: March 3, 2016 To ensure students and staff are receiving quality content in You Tube, the Technology Department is improving this tool by supplementing with additional filtering restrictions. Most of the videos for education have already been categorized as such and are approved for viewing and do not require any further action. For additional You Tube access, staff members must log in. Some educational videos may not be approved for students under the new restrictions and the video should be unlocked. Therefore, the teacher or staff member will need to complete this form to unlock the video for student viewing. Please allow 48 hours for the video to be approved. You must log in with your Katy ISD Google Account to access the form above. For additional information about YouTube, how to login and the approval process, view presentation for additional information. Click here for presentation.

I've seen multiple articles from Live Science, so I wanted to announce that it is not considered a credible source. I'm marking the articles you submitted as well.
Credible sources must come from peer-reviewed publications: newspapers, encyclopedias, journals, etc. If you're unsure about a source, ask me--don't assume it will be okay. Thanks, Mrs. Orepitan |
